Hail day!

While on the BART, I came across a story about villagers praying for rain but only one boy brought an umbrella (exhibiting faith that it really would rain). A few days later, what I though was rain turned out to be the first hail I've seen in my life.

Anna ran out of the house to take photos. I, on the other hand, ran inside to grab my snowboarding helmet.

My sister had a laugh because I looked silly wearing a helmet when the hail stones were tiny. They were barely as big as TicTacs.

But I wore my helmet just in case bigger hail stones fell out of the sky.
